We hadn’t noticed this place before and decided to give it a try. We didn’t expect it to be packed and it was clearly a local favorite with plenty of seating. I ordered the chicken fried steak dinner, with their Mexican potatoes and onion rings, and I enjoyed it. Mrs. Flip Out had their coconut chicken and it was good. Little Flip Out enjoyed his hamburger and Littlest Flip Out enjoyed bites from everyone’s lunch.
Instead of toast with our eggs breakfast, we wanted a biscuit with a side of gravy. This wasn’t allowed and instead we had to order biscuits and gravy. This would have been fine except the gravy was made with sour milk and wasn’t edible. I ate none of mine and my husband ate one of his biscuits w/o the gravy. We let the waitress know and she confirmed the milk used was sour and apologized. They did not remove the biscuits/gravy from our bill. I cannot recommend eating here based on our experience.
Great little out of the way cafe with an unassuming atmosphere. Our family stopped for brunch. It was delicious.
My husband reported that the poblano omelet was one of the best he's ever had. I had the coconut shrimp... let's just say, not only were they fantastic, but being able to eat off the lunch menu at any time is my jam!
This place was pretty fab for breakfast! Had never been there, this was my first time and I'm definitely looking forward to going back!
Called in an order, waited 45 minutes after being told 15, got my food spilled inside the bag. And while trying to go back, and calling them, I got hung up on by the manager three times. Don’t waste your money on this place. Unprofessional, unacceptable, and the food isn’t even good anyway. Do not bother.
We came here for breakfast and ordered sour dough bread, hash browns, and we really wanted a breakfast burrito. However, they didn’t have any on the menu. So, we ordered what was supposed to be the Carlitos omelet with dusted peppers, onions, bacon, and pulled pork with cheese in a tortilla instead of an omlet. Omg!!! It was amazingly delicious! The pulled pork was moist and the vegetables sautéed perfectly. It came with their homemade salsa which was the best I’ve had in Woodward. I would highly recommend this place for sure!
Always busy on a Sunday at lunch but yet they have awesome quick service and good food anyday!
